Joanne Maffia Pampinella grew up in the Village of Malverne, Long Island, NY. She graduated from New York City’s School Of Visual Arts with a BFA in Illustration.
“Jo” has illustrated for several magazines and newspapers, including Seventeen and Glamour. Jo also illustrated a children’s book, The Little Fire Engine That Saved The City, written by Dennis Smith and published by Doubleday. Jo has incorporated her love of illustration and color, using her own whimsical style, creating unique works of art. These include: Wood cutout paintings, painted furniture, boxes, switch plates, flower pots, greeting cards, and so much more! |
